Auto Sun visor mould
This is an auto sun visor mould. As the product is large and the structure is complicated, this auto sun visor mould will focus on introducing the secondary ejector system.
The Fig.7.57 shows the details about the inner side of the product. The A part shows some details about the different size of undercuts. This kind of the undercut should use the core collapsible structure. In the whole product, it has 40 undercuts in total. That’s mean the whole auto sun visor mould need 40 angle lifters, which brings a lot of the difficulties to the eject system. If we just use 4 normal reset springs, the stress will be not large enough. Moreover, no matter the ejector process or reset process, it will be hard to make the force to be balance. Therefore, this auto sun visor mould use two hydraulic cylinders to do eject and reset function.
The part B shows the different size of the spring. There is an included angle between axis direction and the mould opening direction. It will cause the auto sun visor mould difficult to demould. Therefore, we should use the angle collapsible slider structure. The secondary ejector is used for making the collapsible core and ejector action in the same time. The first ejector is for push the plate B and slider. The secondary ejector action is used for ejector the product. The details of the structure are as the Fig.7-58 shows.
