Aviation cup is kind of perfect container with reasonable strength but low weight.
One of the most important point of aviation cup is wall thickness. In 2005, we could make 4 cavities PS cup mould with wall thickness 0.5mm and exhibited it on canton fair. And in the next year, we could make 8 cavity PS cup mould. The mould cores are S136 from ASSAB plated with Titanium with surface hardness HRC 65.
The other important point is cycle time. For 4 cavity without robot picking out, the cycle time is 3.8s. For 8 cavity without robot picking out, the cycle time is 4.8s. For 4 cavity with robot picking out, the cycle time is 4.2s. For 8 cavity with robot picking out, the cycle time is 5.5s.
